ETW Preparation Course (European Tree Worker)

A European Tree Worker (ETW) is a certified arboriculture professional who has demonstrated the knowledge, skills and competence needed to care for, manage and work safely with trees in urban and natural environments. This certification, recognised across Europe by the European Arboricultural Council (EAC), establishes a standard of quality and professionalism for work involving the assessment, maintenance and conservation of trees.

An ETW can work safely and efficiently while respecting trees and their surroundings, applying up-to-date climbing, pruning, felling, visual tree assessment (VTA/EVA) and risk management techniques, as well as understanding current regulations and good practice in modern arboriculture.

This course is designed to prepare participants for the official ETW assessment, covering both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to pass the examinations and work to a high standard as a certified arborist across Europe.
