About the training.
The chainsaw is the most common and also the most demanding tool in the forestry and arboriculture sector. Chainsaw I trains you in its safe, efficient and ergonomic use: from the regulations and the risks to the specific prevention measures that make every cut controlled and repeatable.
The training alternates between classroom sessions and hands-on practice with the machine in hand: sharpening and maintenance, basic cutting techniques and safe team working dynamics. The aim is for the operator to finish the course understanding the machine, looking after it and working with it without overexertion, with the foundations in place to move on to felling in Chainsaw II.
